With her lovely flush deck of teak, long overhangs, and remarkably attractive wheel house, Bontekoning is the epitome of a Truly Classic that has been highly customized. This family cruiser is designed for shallow waters, with a draft of just 8.53 feet (2.60 meters). Bontekoning is designed to be handled by two persons, thanks to the hydraulic in-mast furling system, powered sheet winches, and furls on the headsails.

The sophisticated modern lines of her aluminium hull and underwater configuration make for an exciting sailing performance. Add in the large fuel and water tank capacities and engine room with 6.2 feet head space, and you have a yacht that is comfortable and safe for all high seas passages, and voyages.

An extraordinary Art Deco interior features classic detailing throughout. Bontekoning's spacious wheelhouse offers an elegant and efficient U-shaped dining area with superb views and also houses a modern fully-equipped navigation station. The large owners stateroom is located forward of the mast bulkhead with a queen sized bed. Two guest suites are integrated in the aft section. In addition to a large open plan lounge, further relaxation options are available at deck level in the aft cockpit. Each of the staterooms and suites have their own bathroom and shower. The mirrors and floors are electrically heated and the heads are electrically flushed.

Bontekoning is MCA compliant and Lloyds certified and has a CEE classification. She flies the Dutch flag and has proven to be and is ideally suited for chartering as a income-providing vessel.

Workmanship
Extremely efficient insulation from noise and vibration makes the Bontekoning pleasurable during motoring and sailing. All walls have fireproof insulation. The yacht has 5 watertight compartments, each provided with a separate bilge pump system. Because of the dry exhaust system of the main engine and generators, the noise level during operation is minimal.

Bontekoning has new sails, new batteries and the generators are almost new (2400 and 3100 hours). The main engine has only 3500 working hours.
The hull is newly bottom painted; the exterior newly varnished and the mechanical systems are well maintained and in excellent condition.
